This morning I had the privilege of meeting and interviewing the Patriarch of the Syriac Catholic Church,  Archbishop  Ignace Joseph III Younan who has been traveling in North America to raise awareness of the plight of Christians in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East.

He asks the West to take a stand against the genocide of Christian communities have lived in the region since the time of the early Church.
